Play Poker – Everything you need to become a Poker King

Step 1: Place your bet

Each player will be dealt 2 cards face down. Make an initial buy-in bet and review your hand. If you did not make the initial buy-in bet, you will have folded for that round and the game will continue as normal. Players usually go clockwise to the left of the dealer.

Step 2: Cards on the table

The dealer places 5 cards face down on the table in a row. Once buy-ins have been received from all players, the first 3 cards will be flipped. The game then proceeds clockwise, with each player deciding to raise, hold on, or fold. Each time it comes back to the dealer, another card is flipped over until all 5 cards on the table are visible.

Step 3: Move the joystick

Players can choose from 3 actions each round: hold on, raise, or fold.

Holding is when a player decides to keep the cards in their hand without making any additional bets. If all players choose to persist, the next card on the table is revealed and the round begins again. If all players hold on while all 5 cards are visible on the board, the hand is revealed and the result is calculated to determine who wins.

Step 4: Improve mobility

The raise action can be completed during any of your actions, thereby adding an additional bet to the pot, which must be matched by all other non-folding players after the bet is placed.

If a player cannot match the raise, or chooses not to match, then they must fold and exit the round. The raise amount must be at least the buy-in amount for the round and can be your current bonus amount. Putting all your money in triggers an all-in, which if matched means the player must put the entire pot into play.

Step 5: Fold and Move

One player eliminates themselves from the round. Folding will give up all the money the discarding player invested in that round. This can happen because of a weak hand or a choice that doesn’t match other players’ raises. Folding can be done at any time during the game, including before the initial bet is made. Study the cards on the table and your opponent’s betting behavior to determine when it’s a good idea to fold.

Step 6: Win

After all the cards have been turned over, all remaining players reveal their cards, and the winner is determined based on whose card is the strongest. The final raise can be made before the reveal, with the player with the best hand winning the pot. If all but one player has folded before all cards are revealed, the last player standing automatically wins. Win money and start playing again.
